hi list, as i had to play around with "hudson (https://hudson.dev.java.net)" this week i really want that for glob2, too. continous integration with nightly builds. wouldn't that be cool? a system that gets setup by the according specialists to compile windows, mac and linux binaries once and we get those done automatically for every commit. if build fails, the committer gets blamed. (code testing is unthinkable in glob2 so far but would be part of the system, too). problem is my server is not even big enough for what it does now. i guess the hick-ups it has from time to time are due to processes timing out for low memory or so.
reading fede's mail on translations i'd like to mention that hudson could of course also check for translation coverage and report it to the assigned translators or the mailing list or jabber or irc or twitter or ... ;) who has a server and is willing to help set it up? I'd like to move yog to a bigger server and configure a hudson there, too. wiki and forum can stay on my server. requirements would be no low limit on the ram, almost always available (23/7) and ability to install java and the stuff needed to compile glob2. as i have no idea how a cross compile would work, (has been a while since i did one) requirements for alien os would have to be evaluated. greetings, leo wandersleb _______________________________________________ glob2-devel mailing list [email protected] http://lists.nongnu.org/mailman/listinfo/glob2-devel
