I didn't want to say anything, but...
Anyway, it reminds me of my Jr high science teacher (the above is not
this bad but) who once said while teaching us the e=mc^2 "if you check
the history books to see who came first, Einstein or Newton, you'll
realize that one was really just copying the other." (among so many
other gems). His response when my father (a scientist, and trouble
maker) was complaining to the principal was that he does not teach
science historically.
