I believe that we all are responsible for the state of the earth's
environment, not just beasue of our individula actions, but because as
one organism, even what we think goes out and creates that in the
world. If we're thinking drought, war, famine, violence all the time,
which, propelled by the media it seems we are, then that's what's
creating in our world. Look at how the `war on terror' campaign has
infiltrated our lives and now most people believe people who even look
middel eastern are dangerous. it's perposterous.
That's why I believe we don't get social change wihtout first changing
ourselves; standing up for ourselves as individuals and deciding to
think for ourselves; change our OWN violent attitudes, our OWN
thoughts of `not enough' and to start believeing that thjis world is a
greta place, a good place, a place of peace. And we can only do that
if we too, are good, and peaceful, and loving.
