Turns out that eugenics is widely practiced *today* and arguably
practiced more effectively than global warming abatement. Eugenics is
the law for 1/4 of the human race, it being the law in China.
Eugenics has been use in Cyprus (both sides) to take the incidences
of thalassemia from 0.5 percent to virtually nill in the last 40
years. A voluntary form of eugenics (PR campaigns and free screening)
is practiced in Israel.
