In 2006, Man's Greenhouse Gases Added 340 Megatons a Day

The US NOAA just published the Annual Greenhouse Gas Index,
or AGGI, for 2006.  (It's about time!  2007 is half over.)  These
figures track 5 major and 10 minor anthropogenic greenhouse
gases.  During 2006, and increase of 0.032 Watts of energy
were not radiated to space for every square meter of the Earth's
surface.  This increase, primarily due to the additions of the
gases CO2 and N2O into our planet's atmosphere, is the energy
equivalent of 340 million tons of TNT every day.
