I recently read most of the recent books on GW meant for the general public.
I realized that I still did not know how CO2 functioned as a greenhouse gas. After a little web searching, I ran across this: http://www.exo.net/~pauld/workshops/weather/carbondioxidemodels.htm This is the part that was missing from all the popular books I read. (But perhaps this particular URL is too elementary, there are some other URLs with similar info.) I think it would be a good idea to include an account of this, since some denier sites target this very area. (Or at least the general area of infrared opaqueness.) So providing a little more insight into how CO2 acts as a greenhouse gas might be a good idea. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups Global Change ("globalchange") newsgroup.
