Fidelity Investments to cut 1,700 jobs early next year in 2nd round of
layoffs

BOSTON (AP) -- Fidelity Investments will eliminate 1,700 jobs early next
year in a second round of cuts at the nation's largest mutual fund company,
which has seen its money management fees decline along with the markets.


*RBS plans 3,000 job cuts


*Royal Bank of Scotland will cut around 3,000 jobs worldwide over the next
several weeks to reduce costs amid the global financial crisis, as per
