Railway Minister Mamata Banerjee is scheduled to present the Railway Budget at 12 pm in Parliament today amid much speculation. Banerjee's previous stint saw finances in a mess and she must be careful not to reverse Lalu Prasad Yadav's smart ways of raising passenger revenue and should and should not let the Railways slip into departmentalism. 1. Will this be a watershed Railway Budget in the history of all previous Railway Budgets ? 2. Will Current Railway Minister Ms Mamata Banerjee Railway Budget policies eventually make mess of the Railway Finance? 3. Will this Railway Budget be for the Normal Aam Adami or just tweaking of old policies? 4. Will this be a Modern Railway Budget in terms of political flexibility, overall superior technology & Technicality, Profitability?
