New Delhi, Jan. 31 Poly Medicure Ltd, manufacturers of medical devices and disposables, has announced profits of Rs 4.47 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2009 compared to Rs 64.65 lakh during the corresponding quarter last year. The company reported the net sales during the quarter at Rs 33.97 crore up from Rs 27.76 crore in the corresponding quarter previous year. Mr Himanshu Baid, Managing Director, Poly Medicure Ltd said, “Polymed attributes its performance to opening more sales offices across India, expansion in capacity and launch of new safety devices in international markets.” Polymed has recently entered the diagnostic field where it has launched blood collection tubes, blood collection needles and safety blood collection sets.
