*Rolta India Ltd* has acquired Atlanta based *OneGIS Inc.* for an undisclosed sum.
OneGIS Inc. is a consulting and outsourcing firm specializing in the development and installation of turnkey GIS solutions for the electric, gas, water, wastewater, storm water, telecommunications, and municipal government markets. OneGIS has more than 100 customers in the telecom, power and water utility space in the US. Transaction Note Rolta has also acquired the company's intellectual property, which includes - *OneView Mobile solution*. The acquisition was made through its subsidiary *Rolta Intrnational Inc*. This GIS application allows field personnel to apply specific work-related actions to help automate their daily work assignments through its unique, user configurable, action Framework. OneView Mobile is already operational in several large utilities and telecoms within the North American market. OneView Mobile will become an integral part of Rolta’s GeospatialFusion™ which provides an enterprise-wide solution for spatial viewing, integration and business intelligence. This new combination of GeospatialFusion and OneView Mobile will be used to provide powerful productivity solutions that are synchronized between the office and field workforce. The technical expertise of OneGIS will significantly expand Rolta’s current Geospatial Fusion service offerings by adding substantial consulting and domain experience in utilities and telecommunications. Rolta India Ltd. has executed projects in over 40 countries. It provides Enterprise Geospatial Information Solutions (EGIS), Defense & Homeland Security, Enterprise Design & Operations Solutions (EDOS) and Enterprise Information Technology Solutions (EITS).
