*Invensys Operations Management* has acquired 100% stake *Skelta Software Private Limited* through its Singapore-based subsidiary *Invensys Process Systems Pte Ltd* for an undisclosed sum.
Gross assets acquired are valued at approximately GBP2m. Skelta technology will enable Invensys Operations Management to deliver new, easy-to-configure workflow, collaboration and process-centric applications. The business will continue to be managed by Skelta’s existing executive team, adding approximately 130 employees to Invensys operations in India. *Khaitan & Co* acted as the legal counsels to Skelta Software on the sale. Transaction Note Skelta Software Private Limited, established in 2003, provides enterprise-wide business process management and advanced workflow software solutions for several industries. The company was founded by *Sanjay Shah*, who is also its CEO. Prior to Skelta, Sanjay served as MD and Head of R & D of iCode’s Indian operations. In 2006, Skelta had raised $1.5 Mn in its first round of funding from *SIDBI Venture Capital Ltd*.
