- Wind power equipment-maker Suzlon Energy said it has bagged an order from state-run Hindustan Petroleum Corp for supplying turbines for the oil company's 25.5-MW project at Jaisalmer in Rajasthan. "Suzlon Energy has won an order from Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL) for a 25.5 MW capacity wind power project at Jaisalmer in Rajasthan," the company informed the Bombay Stock Exchange. However, the company did not specify the financial details of the order. The project comprises seventeen 1.5-MW wind turbines and is scheduled for commissioning by the end of 2010, it said.
