New description:
First of all a congratulations for 0.65, great improvements e.g. for the
Ticketing / Helpdesk section.
So far, everything works fine here, combined with ocsinventory.
I have the following question:
In some (training) rooms, I have 15 PCs connected to an outlet (netpoint)
by using three cascaded eight port switches. I would expect, that a
networking report of this netpoint would contain all connected networking
devices, not only the first switch, directly connected to the outlet.
Did I misconfigure something, or do I have a wrong understanding of these
items?
I am using 0.65RC1, Switches have been entered as Networking devices,
their ports have been added (1-8) and "connected" like: Netpoint -> Sw1/P1
: Sw1/P8 -> Sw2/P1 : Sw2/P8 -> Sw3/P1 (where "Sw" means Switch and "P"
means Port...)
Thanks & Greetings from Vienna,
Christof
