I don't know if this is a bug, for me it is. ;) If i try to add a request from the item page (eg, from the computer inventory) i can choose the request author, but only between the users that have privileges >= 'normal'.
Normally my users have privilege 'post-only', and i think this is common. I think to make the call own by users 'post-only' because many of my users phone me instead of insert data into glpi, and i would track the real author. (and, pratically, for the users perspective, make a call or fill a web form have to achive the same result) Also, the little search box at the right of the author dropdown seems does not work: i've looked some users (also with privileges >= 'normal') with no effect at all.
