...it depends, for me using glpi with postgres is a major goal, not a
minor one... ;)))

Boring for programmers and boring for translatiors: why use a
localization method that are nonstandard, when there's a full-supported
standard mathod that have a plently of tools just written and keep the
code more readable?

Clearly. But please, don't consider db indipendence and good
localization framework as a minor goal, the unix/free software way of
doing things are also full of good programming praxis...
