I've moved my GLPI installation from a server (debian lenny) to another
one (debian squeeze).
I've moved files, apache configuration and db, as i've done many times.
Now GLPI say:
A link to the Mysql server could not be established. Please check your
configuration.
Le serveur Mysql est inaccessible. Vérifiez votre configuration
config_db.php contains:

var $dbhost = 'localhost';
var $dbuser = 'glpi';
var $dbpassword= 'thepassword';
var $dbdefault = 'glpict';
}

and, on the same server, if i do:
root@marvin:/usr/local/share/glpi/config# mysql -h localhost -u glpi -p glpict
Enter password: <- inserted 'thepassword' here

If i put on the config_db.php the 'root' user credential, works.
What i'm missing?! Thanks.
