I have to agree with Craig.  I too use Avemco.  They do charge a little
more, but as an EAA member there are several added features that have been
negotiated by the EAA (enough discount to pay the EAA membership fee to
start) and somewhere else to go when they start to screw with you.  After
one scrape and one total they have proven to be ready to pay the tab
without
looking for an out, and then didn't raise my premium.  Of course it can be
rightfully stated they don't really need to.

BTW I called Aircraft and Marine Assurance twice now after one of the
members raved about their goodness.  Twice I talked to someone, gave them
all my info, and twice they have never called back to pass along a quote.
Now if I were dating, I'd wonder...
