Paul, When I painted the belly on 17H I blocked up the mains, and raised the nose. This allowed room to scoot underneath. I used a small touch up gun (non-HVLP). Take the pickup tube on the gun and bend it so that it will work slightly vertical. I layed on a creeper and had a flourescent drop light in one hand and the gun in the other. Remember to work from one side to the other, there isn't much room under there!
