I have a Cessna flashing beacon installed on my horizontal stabilizer per a 337. I am considering replacing it with a strobe. Does anyone have any experience with a strobe installed in that location? If so how distracting is it? I notice the beacon, but can ignore it. However I'm not sure if a bright strobe installed there wouldn't be a major distraction.
