Prior to 9/11, I'd always take a new passenger, especially kids over the Bremerton Naval Base to see the carriers. I was sore tempted to do a touch and go on one. I did notice there always seemed to be some piece of machinery on the flight deck---to discourage people like me???? Now all that including the sub base are under TRFs which will never go away.
