Hi Brett;     If you do not find the appropriate part, I would go to the
local hardware/Home Depot/etc, and purchase a length of aluminum angle
that matches the dimensions of the part in question. Then, if you have not
already removed the parts, remove the pieces of the old one. Cut the newly
purchased angle into the pieces you need to match the old one. remove the
blind nuts from the old pieces and use the old piece as a guide for proper
location, put them on the new one. Then bolt it all back in place. It will
most likely last another 50 years. You can use screws to put the pieces
together instead of rivets, if you do not have the riveting capability. If
you do not feel comfortable doing it yourself, then find a local mechanic
who can do it. If you have the floor removed, he should be able to do the
entire job in an hour.
