FS2000PRO. The additional features are worth it (see Microsoft's site for
a list).

Also pick up Combat Flight Simulator. It's a lot of fun.

I like the Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback Pro. I actually turn the
forces
off. I find them annoying. However the basic mechanism is so good that it
doesn't hurt the wrists or arm. Rudder action is obtained by twisting the
stick. If you want a bit cheaper, the plain Sidewinder Precision Pro is
much
less.

The finest trim control is the keyboard control. You can make fine
adjustments there. As I recall, the FS98 ercoupe that I had a hand
in building trimmed just fine. I altered the engine and elevator
parameters
because I wasn't happy with the original.

Unless you spend a lot on a yoke, it's apt to be pretty crappy. And
they take up a lot of room on the desk. Plus, they're not great for
flying combat and/or aerobatics.
