I like the Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback Pro. I actually turn the forces off. I find them annoying. However the basic mechanism is so good that it doesn't hurt the wrists or arm. Rudder action is obtained by twisting the stick. If you want a bit cheaper, the plain Sidewinder Precision Pro is much less. >I have messed around with it before and been dissatisfied with >the innability to trim out the elevator like you do in the >real coupe. The finest trim control is the keyboard control. You can make fine adjustments there. As I recall, the FS98 ercoupe that I had a hand in building trimmed just fine. I altered the engine and elevator parameters because I wasn't happy with the original. >Any suggestions. I really don;t want to go whole hog and >buy the yoke.... Unless you spend a lot on a yoke, it's apt to be pretty crappy. And they take up a lot of room on the desk. Plus, they're not great for flying combat and/or aerobatics.
