----[Please read http://ercoupers.com/disclaimer.htm before following any advice in this forum.]---- It gets better, My brother works for company that backed in to it, he is one of the AP's The owner of the company has always bent over backward to help us with the Coupe. I can't fault any one but my self for parking by the trucks where he gave me free tie down space. I'll be eating this one, but it still doesn't equal the help he has been. A few people have sent me some leads on parts, it may not be to hard to find the bow. The wing that got the damage was opened up to the rib and inspected,. All the mechanics took there turns looking thought and assessing the damage. They were all very impressed on how good the structure looked, shinny clean. My brother said that the bow may be repairable but he would rather keep the extra weight out of there. They all agreed that the wings needed new silver anyway. Thank you all for your help. ----[Please read http://ercoupers.com/disclaimer.htm before following any advice in this forum.]---- Drat! Sympathy! An idiot did that to me 15 years ago. I got a newly refurbished and recovered wing from Skyport out of that but another Coupe wing died forever in the deal. It was such a big stupidity I didn't even get really angry. I just thought about how stupid we all can be sometimes. Then I thought it needed to be a learning experience for him. I ranted so effectively, the driver thought I might kill him (though I made no threats and used no profanity). I dented the hood of his fuel truck with my hand and sweetly offered the FBO to pay for the damages. (He DIDN'T take me up on it!)
