Anybody ever take a look at the rear bow and try to figure out how the
factory bucked the rivets??? It's a Z inside a C and for the life of me I
can't figure out how they got a bar inside to do the last row of rivets.
Anybody help here?

Also, what are the FAA approved replacement blind rivets for #3 solid
rivets? I'm thinking something like a Cherry BSP-41 and BSPS-42 since
they
are 1/8" and have higher shear and tensile properties than the solid
rivets
they are replacing.

One more hardware question... am replacing some of the #6 solid rivets in
the firewall where the engine mounts attach with AN525 washer head screws.
The sample screw I got from our (in)famous FAA representative and Ercoupe
owner is (I believe) a 6-32 1/2 long with a 1/8" grip. Unfortunately
neither Aircraft Spruce nor Wicks carry this size- they start at 8-32.
Recommendations as an alternative (preferably something that Spruce
carries
since I order from them fairly often).

Thanks!
