I've found that clamping the prop into a large vise and wacking the end
soundly with a large sledge hammer, will turn any extra long prop into a
clip tip reel fast.  Final balancing adjustments will be made with a small
hand held grinder, which is used to remove small amounts of metal.  With
care, it should fly reel good.  Need more RPM?  Wack that baby again.  It
should reely purrrrrrr.
