I have a beautiful 1965 Alon A2 that can be seen at users.hawken.edu/creno/alon Recently, I flew it to Kansas(from Cleveland, OH) for GATTS IFR training and she performed beautifully. Now, I wish to upgrade to an IFR certified 4 seater plane. I have studied and found the space behind the Alon panel lacking for needed avionics Alon has King 97A digital Flip/Flop Com and 87A transponder. Loran 8002 unit works fine. Tanis engine heater. No expenses spared. Beautiful paint as the pictures show.
