I was doing a periodic cleaning and check on 2666H's gascolator today, and I noticed that when the bowl is good and snug the thumb screw on the bottom of the bail which sticks into the nipple inder the bowl is almost all the way out. Although it seals very well, it makes me wonder if a different and slightly shorter bowl hasn't been substituted. Could it have been retrofitted from the glass type? Are there different bails and cups that fit the same ones? Thanks!
