Welcome Gaylon, I did about the same as you. I used my coupe for training as well. One thing I would recommend (as was wisely recomended to me) :stay proficient in the training aircraft. Use your coupe for X-countries and other time-building skills, but you will no-doubt be taking your practical test in the Cessna. You must demonstrate slips, and rudder coordination to get an un-restricted PP SEL. If you choose to take the practical in your coupe (assuming the examiner goes for it) you will recieve a limited (2 axis) certificate. I switched back and forth between the 150, 172 and Ercoupe. After soloing the 3, much more time was spent in the coupe doing cross countries etc. About a month before the checkride, I buckled down in the Cessna and got my maneuvers and landings perfected. So, for what it's worth... stay friends with the cessna for now.
