Gaylon, 
       This is what I would do. You pretty much said it yourself. To get
your private pilot liscense you need 5 hours of solo cross country, 3 take
offs and landings at a controlled airport, and a total of 10 hours of solo
flight (I think). I would do all of that in the coupe. Then I would just
use the warrior for the checkride and the 3 hours of dual before the
checkride. You might even get an examiner that is coupe friendly. They
could say "hey lets do it in the coupe". Or they could refuse. So
basically, fly the coupe for every requirement, and be ready and
proficciant in the warrior just in case.
