Hi Dick; Sorry for the late reply, but I just got back from moving a
C-182 to Tahoe/Truckee. Then I drove back with my 89 year old father who
was visiting my sister in Oakdale, CA.
I have had good luck with Aircraft Quality Instruments in Wichita,
KS. They exchanged instruments when a gyro was a tad too long to go behind
the Coupe panel (after I had the gyro for over a year), and replaced a
gyro when it would not hold heading (that was about 3 years prior). Their
overhauled instruments work well.
