I have a 300 and could not get it into a good position on the yoke or
control wheel. There really isn't enough room on the yoke and on the
control
wheel it was to close for my comfort.

They make a mount for a boat. I took the part that cradles the unit and
mounted it to the panel directly in front of me. It works very well there.
If you want a picture, let me know and I will take one.

To add to Greg's question... does anyone use a Lowrance 100 with the yoke
mount on the old original Ercoupe yoke? Does it work OK? I am
contemplating upgrading my GPS to the Lowrance and wonder whether to yoke
mount it or velcro it to the panel like my Garmin currently is........

Thanks! John Barsness in damn hot 102 degree Boise, Idaho

Has anybody ever used a R-A-M system mount on the
rams-horn yoke conversion to hold a GPS?

If so, what ball did you find worked well and let
you clear things properly?

I'm thinking of tidying things up and 86-ing the
home-brew GPS mount.
