Alan, Others will probably jump on this too. The Coupe Nationals were held in Terrell, Texas last year. It was too hot :-) but we had a great time. I think someone fairly (pun) well informed on Texas airports should organize a breakfast or lunch fly-in at some neat little airport in mid Texas this fall or winter. No real expense other than the time spent hounding others to show-up. Just guarantee two good weather days.
