Wish I had glorious pictures to show you.
The Willamette Valley was hazy today, though.
Did scoot down to Independence, Oregon, to
visit folks there. Had a delightful lunch, then
looked over one guy's numerous building
projects. It sure is nice having your hangar
attached to your domicile.
Took a couple guys up for rides. They are
ultralighters - one of `em has a Skypup. That
particular plane has a high wing with a large
dihydral - like a `coupe. It is also two-control,
just elevator and rudder. The e. is on a back
and forth stick, and the rudder is peddles.
Primitive, but light. I told him I'd move that
rudder attachment to a wheel on the stick.
Just a good trip.
