Bob; If you decide not to make your own gaskets, you can purchase
them
from either Skyport or Univair. The brake handle came with a button on the
end. The button activated a lever on the side of the brake cylinder which
would wedge the cylinder in the on position. As I recall, the button
worked
against a spring inside the handle and was hooked to the lever mentioned
above through a thin rod and bell crank arrangement.
Probably the best bet, if you do not have any of those items, is to
have someone else with the Alon hand brake take a picture of the
arrangement.
