Subject: Re: [COUPERS-FLYIN] Fuel Pump Diaphragm

Andy,

there is a fuel pump overhaul kit available for about 60 bucks. I just
have to remember where I got mine from. You will find that it's not the
diaphragm, it is usually one of the little check valves. There are 2
check valves that force the fuel to go only one direction, when one goes
bad, the pump quits and the diaphragm is usually blamed. The kit has 2
new valves, the diaphragm, screen and all seals. Dont substitute parts on
such a flight critical item.

2 local Fresno guys barely walked away with their lives because of a
failed fuel pump.

I will look for the info on the pump kit.
