In N. California this time of year, typically the Central Valley gets fog and the coast loses the stratus layer so often found in the summer. But Sunday, a strong north wind blew away all the valley fog and it was an easy 1 hour flight from the Sacramento area, down the lower Sacramento River to the San Francisco Bay, over the Golden Gate Bridge, then head south along the coast to Half Moon Bay airport for lunch. Spectacular views of farmland, rivers, islands, bridges, and San Francisco. No need to talk to Bay Approach either, I scoot under the Class B and tune in their frequencies to listen. Folks, it doesn't get much better than this. Ralph Finch from Davis, near Sacto __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
