Chris, I also ordered the set of drawings for the coupe from the same
place. The quality of the
drawings was very poor with all of the drawings on the last half of the
roll unreadable. They were so
light in contrast that only a few arrow heads were visible. I called them
up and they redid a set for
me with their machine set at the darkest setting and sent them to me.
They were very good and fully
readable. The archivist that helped me was very cordial and told me it
would take about three weeks to
get the film redone. True to his word, they arrived almost three weeks to
the day.
On the dark side, there were basically two ercoupes, Pre war and post
war. The drawings that you have
coming are for the Pre war coupes. The drawings show the early landing
gear etc. I'm sure that to
build a coupe from scratch you will have to buy some of the parts if they
are available such as spar
caps, bell cranks etc.
If you want a challenging project, buy a sorry wore out coupe, completely
disassemble it and then
reassemble it again, repairing and replacing everything that is amiss.
I have been doing just that for the past four years and still not done,
but getting closer.

Best of luck.
