Thanks for the humor, Jack, I had a good belly laugh! :) Kathy

Some people like to polish their kitchen stove. This is done to make the
stove resemble a Ercoupe. They then attach a VSI to the stove and drop it
out of a airplane and watch it fall. It falls very fast, but not as fast
as a Ercoupe.

Others place their hands on the wing root while on an approach. This is
done, to the best of my understanding, to make the Coupe fall faster. I
believe this is accomplished by pushing so hard on the wing root that the
wings break off.

This breaking off of the wings is due in part to the corrosion that is on
all Ercoupe spars. I think the corrosion is either black or white, the
color was never nailed down. But it's there and you just as well use it
to your advantage.

Now to get this corrosion, to make the plane land faster, one must add
Swiss Cheese to the wings. This is done in compliance to an AD. This
Swiss Cheese addition encourages mice to live in the wings. Their little
kidneys create a by-product that eats away at the wings spars.

Now you can't see the little mice do this, (Number 1), they are bashful.
(Don't peak in the holes in the wings, a mirror won't help). But you can
hide a camera in the wing and take pictures. I guess you then publish
these videos on the web under some strange site name.
www.pervertedmice.com

Ercoupes can fly slow. Some fly so slow that they overheat, the engine
quits and they drop out of the sky like a chrome plated kitchen stove.
Others don't overheat because those little mice are up there on the
cylinders doing Number 1 on the hot surfaces to keep them cool.

Some Ercoupes fly real fast. This high speed will no doubt help get the
corroded wings off.

But PLEASE, tell the little mice when you are planning to break off the
wings so they can get out. Let's be human.

Jack
