Ed, I think that Syd started this string. His suggestions are great. We should celebrate First Flight Day EVERY year, not just the 100th anniversary. I'm thinking that if anyone is close to needing a check ride, BFR, needs to break in a new engine, needs to flight test a new home built, etc, wouldn't Dec 17th be an appropriate day to do it?
