I think I have it. Unless I’m totally confused, I can hash ONLY on the filename with: glusterfs --volfile-server=a_server --volfile-id=a_volume \ --xlator-option a_volume-dht.extra_hash_regex='.*[/\\\\]' \ /a/mountpoint Correct?
