The server/port options will tell glusterfs how to connect to a glusterfsd 
that will supply it with a client spec.  glusterfs will then connect to 
whatever servers the spec file from the server told it.

Thanks Brent. That makes sense. So then the combination of server and port 
just directs communication to the desired glusterfsd process.
