Rafal, The answer is hard to tell. You will have to take the same decision as you would, without glusterfs. ext3 is probably the best 'overall'. xfs or reiserfs would help if you have a LOT of small files in the same directory, etc. GlusterFS is agnostic to what filesystem is there below it, as long as it has a POSIX compatible syscall interface.
