Hi,all:
I have used FlameGraph to test glusterfs-3.4.2, trace with simple dd.
found that, a lot of cpu consume on frame_fill_groups, My questions:
1. what’s the func of frame_fill_groups?

frame_fill_groups() reads /proc/<pid>/status to identify the auxiliary groups associated with pid.

2. should it disable by default?

It can be disabled by default if none of your applications running on the gluster mount are dependent on auxiliary groups for performing I/O on the dataset within a gluster volume.
