Emmanuel,
     I tried re-creating the issue, the memory accounting based testing did not 
reveal much. Then I shifted to valgrind based testing but for some reason the 
mount just hung and mount was disconnecting from bricks. I was doing the test 
on local machine. Let me shift the testing to a proper cluster and post the 
results.
