I am not involved in FUSE for OSX myself, but it seems to be the only one that 
is active. MACFUSE is stalled, and FUSE4X has merged with this one. 

It is still many versions (minor 8) behind FUSE for Linux (minor 22), but as 
long as the fuse-bridge.c doesn’t refer to any newer features when compiling to 
OSX, it should work, but perhaps not be as fast as the Linux version.
