Gluster clients and servers are CentOS 5.6 x86_64 using the 3.2.3 Gluster
provided -core and -fuse RPMs.

I'm trying to use /etc/auto.home to automount my users home directories using
glusterfs fuse client, and I keep getting "transport endpoint is not connected".

The summary: can successfully mount via glusterfs and nfs using /etc/fstab, and
can successfully automount nfs via auto.home, cannot automount glusterfs via
auto.home

/etc/auto.home using NFS mounts successfully and generally works, short of some
locking and permissions issues.
*   192.168.1.11:/res/users/&

However, if I change to use glusterfs I get errors when attempting to mount
(where res is the volume name, users is a directory in the root of the volume,
and jdoe is the user name):

*   -fstype=glusterfs 192.168.1.11:/res/users/&

Here are the errors in the /var/log/gluster/home-jdoe.log

Anyone know if this is expected to work?
