Hi Shylesh - thanks for the reply.
I've restarted a few times - glusterd, the volume, the machine itself.
Same results.

Thanks,

Subject: [Gluster-users] trouble rebalancing volume
Hi all -
I'm having issues rebalancing my layout/data across a two-brick volume.
I'm on Gluster 3.2.5.
I'm currently using a single Ubuntu 10.04 machine. Both bricks reside on
this machine. Adding the brick went fine. Here's the volume's info:
$ sudo gluster volume info
Volume Name: branch
Type: Distribute
Status: Started
Number of Bricks: 2
Transport-type: tcp
Bricks:
Brick1: system01:/gluster/brick0001
Brick2: system01:/gluster/brick0002
brick0001 has a bunch of files on it, brick0002 is empty. I'd like to
rebalance the directory layout and data onto the new brick. But strange
things happen when I try to do this.
$ sudo gluster volume rebalance branch fix-layout status
rebalance stopped
$ sudo gluster volume rebalance branch fix-layout start
Rebalance on branch is already started
$ sudo gluster volume rebalance branch fix-layout status
rebalance stopped
Weird! I can't seem to get this to work.
Am I doing some wrong, or is this some other issue?
Thanks!
