Yes indeed. So what seems to make sense to me is to get a definitive problem description. Are the files indeed out of sync between the two backends? Then this narrows the problem space down considerably. Then try to narrow the problem down further. Does it only happen with NFS clients - e.g. if you install a native FUSE/gluster client and try the same test, is everything fine?
