Hi,
We did manage to track our problems.
For the first client (that sort-of mounted the gluster volume)
we had a bad entry in our /etc/hosts file for one of the bricks.
For the second client (that would not mount at all) Marcelo Roccasalva's
Email from 30 Nov was spot on and I just did not understand it. We
had not created the dummy mountpoint directory on the client for
mounting the gluster volume. My bad.
Things seem to be settled out not. Thanks for all of the
help and advice! :-)

Ah, I understand now. Yes, last week we did. They are not back
now.

Didn't you have some interfaces which had IPs assigned, but were not
connected to anything that was causing issues with your bricks not
communicating correctly? Last week, or week before.
Maybe that was some other person from MIT?

Hi,
We recently installed glusterfs 3.3.1. We have a 3 brick gluster
system running
that was being successfully mounted earlier. Yesterday we
experienced a
power outage and now after rebooting our systems, we are unable to
mount
this gluster file system. On the gluster client, a df -h command
shows 41TB
out of 55TB, while an ls command shows broken links for directories
and
missing files.
