I've added the alpha2 repo to my system and this is what happened
failing scriptlets and packages not getting upgraded:
Looks like you were using the RPMs from my fedorapeople.org repo.
Unfortunately the RPMs in the repo on bits.gluster.org aren't compatible
with the RPMs from my repo. They get put there automatically as a result
of the build process. And before too much longer these RPMs will be more
compatible with the Fedora and EPEL RPMs.
I've just put up alpha2 RPMs in the repo at
http://download.gluster.org/pub/gluster/glusterfs/qa-releases/3.4.0alpha2/
which are compatible with my fedorapeople.org RPM.s
I realize this is confusing. Maybe the way to think about it is that
bits.gluster.org is for developers (not just the Red Hat developers btw)
and download.gluster.org is for end users.
